The Ojai Studio is a guest house for resident artists that is tucked away among the oak trees in Ojai, CA. Built by Arketype Architects, this building has a small gambrel roof, which is a symmetrical, two-sided roof that slopes steeply on each side. Back in the 1700s, this was called a Dutch roof. The loft and spiral staircase on the inside are meant to inspire the artist.
