This cliff house called Casa Acantilado in Salobrena, Spain was designed by architect Jaime Bartolome who mixed modern technology with traditional techniques. A network of rebar was woven over strip steel curves at intervals up the roof pitch, which is supported on acrow props. The roof is finished with zinc shingles made from elZinc® Natural that have turned-up corners to evoke a reptilian surface.
